The most powerful man in the world according to Ecclesiastical Law, Pope Benedict XVI, has claimed that the entire Christian calendar (Roman calendar) is "off" and that Jesus Christ was born much earlier. He also claims that the idea of Christ being born during the darkest part of the year has to do with "pagan tradition" and "the winter solstice." The Pope blames a 16th century monk for the miscalculation, which was widely accepted by Europe at the time.
This comes at a most interesting moment when the Age of Pisces (remember the fish on car bumpers) ends this December 21st marking the beginning of the Age of Aquarius (waterman) where the waterman signifies the "age of awakening." The Mayans were greatly into the study of heliocentricity, which is the study of our cosmos with the Sun as the center of our solar system. "New age pagans" understand Jesus to have called himself "the Amen" (Ammon-Rah = Egyptian Sun God) in Revelation 3:14 and where Christ is the spiritual "enlightenment" upon practicing the "single eye" (meditation) Jesus says to practice in Matthew 6:22.
The Roman Catholic Church is known to have occult (secret) information only held by the clergy. In the 17th century the church vehemently persecuted the likes of Galileo Galilei for his proposition that the world was indeed round when the church taught that it was flat. The Catholic church today holds that Jesus Christ was indeed a man born of a virgin woman (Mary) when New Age believers understand that the "Sun of God" (Jesus) is born of the constellation Virgo (virgin) in the month of September every year before descending into the southern constellation Crux (crucifixion) and being "entombed" in the earth for 3 days and 3 nights during the Winter Solstice until it is "reborn" on 25 December.
The references to the Age of Pisces ending this December 21st, and that new age believes Jesus was born in September is not widespread, nor a standard 'new age' belief. Explanation of precession of the equinoxes on the linked site is similarly not astronomically correct nor a normal rationale (ie, the 'constellations' being of varying degrees of arc). http://www.halexandria.org/dward207.htm
ReplyDeleteI'd be glad to point to other more standard explanations of these concepts, should anyone wish. As to the Age of Aquarius (ie, the vernal point precessing into the 30th degree of Aquarius, from 0 degrees of Pisces) is not recognized by any serious student as absolutely set. Some point to it as occurring as early as the 1800's, some at the close of WWII, and others who suggest 2117.
I appreciate your posts, but the suggestions of what are new age beliefs here are not those that are usually considered by those who study astrology and associated areas.
Thank you.

Hello Vicktorya and thank you for your response!
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely correct that this information is not widespread at all. That is where the significance of this blog comes into play. Churches and religions are not very interested in establishing a relationship between humanity, the month of the year, and cosmic events. This 21 December marks the first planetary alignment of its kind in 26,000 years with the Sun aligned at the very center of our Milky Way galaxy. This can also be interpreted as a "cosmic passover."
People have remembered the seasons of the earth, but the seasons of the universe have been long forgotten by most. Since the design of the universe and its functions rely largely on that of electro-magnet frequencies, the energies beholden to this shift in planetary bodies are held as very significant between "new age" and "pagan" believers, eastern philosophies, and ancient tribal prophecies.
Yes, there will be some varying disagreements between people and I expect this. The bottom-line is that everything should be open to discussion, but we can all agree that there are special events transpiring in the universe this December. Our planet alone has indicated this through its signs of unusual activities never recorded as large nor as frequent as they have occurred in the recent years.
Thanks again!
