Usama bin Laden is said to be one of the most violent al-Qaeda terrorist leaders in the history of the world. After all, he masterminded 9/11, killed 3,000 innocent civilians, caused billions in damage and incited the United States into a multi-trillion dollar war in Afghanistan alone.
There is no way Fox News got it right in 2001 when they declared the death of bin Laden due to kidney failure because President Obama announced bin Laden was killed in May 2011 when SEAL Team VI took him out at a compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Wait! Isn't that the same town that the 1993 World Trade Center bombing leader, Ramzi Yousef, fled to and was apprehended in 1995? Yes, indeed it is.
Why couldn't the Bush Administration take bin Laden out just by retracing Yousef's route into Pakistan? Well, VP Richard Cheney did say that, "...we've (Bush Administration) never made the case, or argued the case that somehow Osama bin Laden was directly involved in 9/11" during the Tony Snow radio show and that is in the White House archives online. The Obama Administration "made it a priority" to locate bin Laden when he was elected into office.
To date, many of SEAL Team VI has been killed in Afghanistan, no Sailors watched bin Laden's body being dropped into the Arabian Sea, the Department of Defense has no autopsy report, DNA sample, videos, photographs, or pre-raid military plans, the CIA is not responding to Freedom of Information Act (FoIA) requests concerning pictures of the event and the body, and the story of bin Laden's death has significantly changed once again according to one of the members who personally raided the Pakistani compound and wrote a book about the experience.
Groan...
