Trillions of dollars have been spent on wars, hundreds of billions have been budgeted to finance wars every year, and the same politicians sending our kids to war are cutting back on benefit and resettlement programs to include education and other health benefits. It literally takes years, if not months for military veterans to receive the assistance they apply for with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and that is if they get accepted at all. Now, employees of the VA are admitting they are doing more harm than good to their veterans by prescribing pills to kill the pain, which is turning veterans into drug addicts all because the VA "does not know how to treat the disorder," especially if it is psychological such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Corporal David J. Cranmer of the U.S. Marine Corps had deployed to Iraq in 2007-2008 and returned with both back and psychological injuries. Upon applying to the VA for assistance, he was prescribed pain pills resulting in an addiction he also sought treatment for. Corporal Cranmer left behind a wife and son when he committed suicide March 2015. In recent times, I have personally noted that nationally-syndicated television shows are pushing "pills" as the preferable method for remedying ailments. This tells me that neither government nor media are interested in helping people, but rather making long-term customers out of people, which will only make matters worse and more complicated in the end.
At this time, it appears television shows such as The Doctors are turning their backs against homeopathic alternatives to traditional treatments. The reason for this is homeopathic alternatives actually work and there is no profit in it for the pharmaceutical industry because we cannot patent anything naturally-recurring. Pharmaceutical companies compensate our licensed physicians for recommending and prescribing medication. When our bodies build a tolerance or requires a "balance," physicians offer more medications to enhance the doses or to counter what is already being prescribed.
In my own experience, there does exist natural alternatives. One of these alternatives is a natural spray detoxifier manufactured out of Los Angeles County, California. About a year ago, I was personally sampled this natural alternative to help regulate my poor sleeping pattern. My night terrors have subsided dramatically and I sleep much better throughout the night, which allows me to wake up much easier after a good night's rest. This natural alternative is called Siddha (formerly Sidda) and it is veteran-owned by a Marine combat veteran whom held leadership roles as an infantry officer at 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, Mr. Stan Deland.
Mr. Deland and few of us other veterans are teaming together in the veteran-hub of California, San Diego County, to bring this detoxifier where it belongs. Our goal is to get this product into as many of our veteran's hands as possible in an effort to reduce, if not altogether eliminate, the horrendous suicide rate of 22 military veterans every day or over 8,000 veterans annually. If we can help serve those who have served and those whom are troubled and continue to serve, the possibilities of helping people currently suffering may be endless.
