Obama & Romney Track Records

For the "die-hard" democrats, President Obama seems like the best democratic candidate to continue with the direction of the United States while "right-wing" republicans promote a more conservative ideology by supporting their nominee, the now former Massachusetts Governor, Mitt Romney. If we may, let us look at what these two political nominees have eloquently spoke on and then let us look at what has been done. Please be advised that there is no party favor here at all. This is as objective of a scrutinizing analysis as it comes during this election season.

Let us start with President Obama:
In 2009, Obama pledged to "...cut the deficited inherited in half by the end of his first term in office." Since this time; however, the deficit has risen by over $6.5 trillion to a staggering $16 trillion, and growing. During a campaign speech on 3 July 2008 it was claimed that Bush's addition of $4 trillion to the deficit was "irresponsible" and "unpatriotic." In the same year, Obama added that if he could not fix the economy, he was looking at only a one-term proposition.

During Obama's campaign, he promised greater transparency and honesty than any previous administration at the White House. Two years into his Presidency, it was revealed through The Daily Show that just the opposite was happening. In fact, the very first day Obama took office he signed Presidential Executive Order (EO) No.13489, which required the President's direct consent and authorization to allow any of his personal records to be disclosed to the public at-large.
Since Obama took office, a host of military leaders including U.S. Army Major Terry Lakin have objected to following the President's orders because of their firm belief in his lack of qualifications that would make him eligible as Commander-in-Chief (CiC) to run the government of the United States.

Now that we have covered some of the history of Obama's administration, let us now see what Romney has portrayed between his words and his actions.

Mitt Romney was secretly recorded in May 2012 as saying that "47 percent" of Americans don't pay taxes and they will support Obama no matter what. He goes on to say that his "job is not to worry about them." This was leaked in mid-September and 2 days after this leak he has iterated his "concern" with the "100 percent." In June 2012, he touted how bad Obama-Care was and how he disagreed with the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to uphold it. In September 2012, Romney spoke on Obama's labeling him the "grandfather of Obama-Care as a compliment." This might be because Romney's own Advisers visited the White House a number of times during Obama's term to aide the administration in crafting Obama-Care. Other "flip-flops" by Romney include, but and are not limited to, his changes in political positions on the immigration and gay marriage issues.

There are many other instances where scrutinizing these professionals further might convince one not to vote at all, but what else can be concluded other than the fact that Romney ultimately admitted during the third Presidential Debate that he applauds the performance of the Obama administration on most issues?
